The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE), in association with Social Enterprise Scotland, are delighted to be hosting the Health and Social Care Zone at the 2017 Social Enterprise Exchange Marketplace.
Health and Social Care are key emerging areas of focus for Social Enterprise in Scotland. The Zone will provide an opportunity to come together, discuss and engage in creative ways around a range of issues relevant to social enterprise and health and social care.
There are many topics and themes where Social Enterprise and Health and Social Care intersect, for example:
- Self-Directed Support
- Health and Social Care Integration
- Mental Health
To ensure the Zone focuses on the issues important to YOU, the ALLIANCE will be consulting widely on what issues should be addressed on the day.
The ALLIANCE’s vision is for a Scotland where people of all ages who are disabled or living with long term conditions, and unpaid carers, have a strong voice and enjoy their right to live well, as equal and active citizens, free from discrimination, with support and services that put them at the centre. We are the national third sector intermediary for a range of health and social care organisations, bringing together over 1,700 members. Find out more at www.alliance-scotland.org.uk.
